In order to successfully repair your credit we need you to follow and adhere to certain rules.
First and most important:
When you receive any correspondence or updates related to the accounts in dispute, send it to us as soon as possible. We will need it to continue our work.
Remember, we are disputing various aspects of your profile and demanding creditors to prove they have complied with over three hundred different rules and regulations. We will need to know where each creditor stands after the initial dispute letters have been served upon them.
We also ask all of our clients to refrain from applying for new credit while they are going through this process. Let us do our work without interruption. Be patient. The process takes anywhere between 45 business days and 6 months.
Never answer collection letters or calls without informing us. It will be better if you forward those letters to us.
If you receive collection calls it would be advisable to keep a written log of those calls. Include the collection agency name, complete address, date and time, the name of the person who called and the content of the conversation.
Under the FDCPA they must provide all of this information if you ask. If you have those logs and you send them to us, we might find FDCPA violations and use them to negotiate with the agency.
As soon as they start to receive our letters they will attempt to contact you. They think they have a better chance to collect because you are now trying to restore your credit. Collectors will also send letters to update your current personal information with them.
